Position Overview
The Traveling QC Manager will be responsible for overseeing quality control operations at various project sites across the country. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications, while also coordinating with site teams to implement effective quality management practices.

• Develop and implement quality control plans for various projects
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to address quality-related issues
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control procedures
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and maintain safety standards at all sites
• Prepare and submit quality control reports to upper management
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes
• Assist in the development and execution of corrective action plans as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management
• Certification in Quality Management or equivalent
• OSHA 30-hour certification
• Familiarity with USACE specifications and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites
